December 20 LIVE BAND! Rick Brunetto Big Band
Live Band Night on December 20th featuring the Rick Brunetto Big Band!
After 30 years, the Rick Brunetto Big Band enjoys the reputation as Central Ohio’s foremost and finest big band. Seventeen piece bands are virtually unheard of in cocktail lounges, but this bands unique situation has enjoyed enormous success and support from the many people who come every week to listen and dance to the Big Band sound. http://
Haven’t danced before? No Problem. A beginner East Coast Swing dance lesson is included in admission and will get you started to dance the rest of the night. No partner necessary.

Absolutely NO OUTSIDE food and drink.

December 3 & 5 Try Out for Team SwingColumbus!
Do you want to push your dancing to the next level? Do you dream of learning choreography to compete with a group of advanced dancers to a crowd of cheering fans?
Attend this info session and tryout to get information on how to join Team SwingColumbus!
Team SwingColumbus is a group of swing dancers that practice together twice a week in January and February 2018 to learn and perform a choreographed dance. The team will perform that dance in the Dayton Swing Smackdown on Saturday night, February 24, 2018.
For 2018, Team SwingColumbus is recruiting dancers who have taken at least a couple of classes with SwingColumbus and are regular dancers at Swingin’ Wednesdays. Team members should be excited to improve their dancing and willing to commit to learn and perform with a team.
NO solo performance or memorized choreography will be required. The tryout is coming and participating in the dancing and warm up. NO partner is required!

December 2 SwingColumbus on a Saturday Night
Welcome to the December edition of Saturday Night Swing by SwingColumbus! This dance is held at the Fourth Avenue Christian Church building in the lower-level ballroom.
This dance features some of our awesome DJs spinning your favorite holiday and vintage tunes for you. We will have a few snacks, and a fun, festive corner to take your #cbushohoho selfies! This is our annual Holiday party and we encourage you to wear your fancy festive duds.
SwingColumbus hosts Saturday Night Swing roughly once a quarter with a focus on great dancing, great vintage music, and a special feel to provide a complimentary weekend dancing experience to our Swingin’ Wednesdays at Big Room Bar.

Live Band Night on November 29th featuring the Moonshine Rhythm Club!
Moonshine Rhythm Club’s sound draws on the guitar-driven, acoustic fire of gypsy jazz, as well as the slow burn and laid-back groove of later artists like Count Basie and Nat “King” Cole.
